Olympus E-5 rumors launch on September 14

Olympus is hard at work to come out with their latest product. It’s been a while since Olympus has released an E-5 model. I know that Olympus doesn’t disappoint, and we can expect a good product.

I found this article that talks about the rumors of how close the launch is from happening. The Olympus E-5 will be an amazing new camera, and I’m looking forward to trying one.

According to this article:

“According to the site, that just so happened to be bang on the money for the launch of a special edition Olympus E-P2 on Tuesday morning, the Japanese company will launch a new model ahead of Photokina on Tuesday 14 September that will replace the now over 3-year-old model.”

I think the news is quite exciting from Olympus. The specs for the camera are still up in air, but we are pretty sure the specs are going to be listed below.

“The new E-5, as it will supposedly be known, will have a 12-megapixel sensor (2 megapixels up from the E-3), the company’s new TruePic 5 engine for processing, 720p HD video recording at 30p with a mic jack for external recording, an 11 point AF system, and a 3-inch screen around back.”

What do you think?

We are not sure what the price is going to be yet, but besides that I’m excited for this release from Olympus.
